Shena BulcockA native of Manchester, I moved many times before settling in the West Country and have been inspired by the diversity of the landscape in Somerset. Working mainly in acrulics, I paint landscapes, trying to capture the nature of the scene. For other subject matter, pencil or pastel perhaps may be more appropriate. Although I have little formal training since college, SCAT in Taunton gave me a useful foundation for the work that I am doing currently. I am a qualified Adult Turot and my time is taken up with tutoring private painting and drawing classes from my home. Local joint exhibitions at Hooked on Books Gallery,Chard, Littlefields Gallery Bishopswood and Meeting House Gallery in Ilminster. Also hangings at Royal Academy South West ( Bristol) in their Autumn opens for the last two years. I have exhibited with Neroche Arts at various locations in Somerset. I am a member of Somerset Arts Weeks.
